Specialist sleep therapy for adults, children, and families struggling with sleep difficulties using CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia)
A collaborative, practical, compassionate approach grounded in evidence and built around your goals
Whether you’re seeking help with your mood, stress, or long-term sleep difficulties, I offer therapy that’s practical, collaborative, and built around what matters to you.
How I work
Therapy with me is collaborative and straightforward. My sessions are practical, supportive, and focused on change.
I create a space where you’ll feel supported, but also gently challenged. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership — you're the expert in your life, and I’m here to guide, support, and challenge you with the tools that work.
Together, we’ll:
Understand what’s driving your current difficulties
Break unhelpful patterns and rebuild helpful habits
Move toward meaningful, lasting change at your pace
Background, Experience & Qualifications
I hold an MA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, where I focused on sleep and student mental health, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the University of the West of Scotland. Both programmes were accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), respectively.
My professional experience spans both third sector and community settings. I was the first CBT therapist within the Specialist Health and Work Services (SHAWS) team at Beatson Cancer Charity, supporting individuals recovering from cancer to rebuild confidence and return to work. I’ve also worked with The Women’s Centre, providing therapy to women from a wide range of backgrounds facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem.
I am fully insured and adhere to professional and ethical standards in line with BABCP guidance.
